Summer is road trip season, and if you haven’t taken one yet, what are you waiting for? Pack up a few things and hop in your car and just go. You can figure out the destination later. If you have a trip coming up soon, here are three tips for making it great.
  
Gas cards: putting gas in random locations will leave you open to identity theft. So do not use your ATM card at all. Instead, use credit cards or Visa gift cards for gas. If for some reason those cards get stolen you can easily put a stop to them without being impacted too much.
 
Talk to the locals: once you get to your location, make an effort to speak with the locals. You can find the best places to eat and sights to see. So put your friendly hat on.
 
Use dryer sheets: once your trip is over, packing dirty clothes into a suitcase can get smelly. Use a dryer sheet to help keep the smell at bay until you get home.
