This weekend is not only Memorial Day weekend, it’s also National Hamburger Day on Saturday (yes, two amazing days rolled into one!) and chances are you’ll be grilling a burger to two with your family and friends, so here are a few tips for making the best barbecue possible.

Preheat: even grills need to be preheated if you are looking for the best results. Instead of just throwing your meat on the grill, preheat it for 20 to 25 minutes in order to get that searing effect on your burgers.
Ice: if you are looking to make the juices burgers around add an ice cube to your burger patties. The ice will melt and the water will get trapped inside, leaving the burger juicy and moist.
Meat: you do not necessarily need to get the most expensive cut of meat to make a great burger. The fat content is what you should be looking at. Get ground beef with 15 to 20 percent fat in order to make burgers that don’t dry out.
